Born and raised in California, Jake Holmes has lived in the Seattle, Wa. area since 1995 and is currently employed in the telecommunications industry. A divorced father of three teenaged children, Jake now lives alone just a stone's throw from the Puget Sound. He was educated at various California State Universities, including CSUFullerton and UCSanDiego, where he majored in Biology. Additionally, Jake served as a Medical NCO in the US Army Special Forces ODA-334 from 1979 to 1985. His hobbies/interests include reading, writing, shooting, philosophy, military subjects, emerging technologies and the quest to find a truly great carne asada burrito outside of southern Cal.
