I am a descendant of Aquila Chase who was one of the first settlers in New England. Once I traced my ancestors back to New England in the 1630's, I discovered that there were many branches that led me to more remarkable people, like Reverend John Robinson, the spiritual leader of the Pilgrims who landed in Plymouth, Mass. I have found genealogy research to be very rewarding. I have gained a better perspective of my place in history and a sense that the spirit and soul of my ancestors is still flowing in my veins.
