I am in my mid-40's, and live in the Chicago, Illinois metropolitan area.

My interests include Lutheran theology -- I have a Master of Divinity degree from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, served as a parish pastor for several years, and remain active in teaching and writing. I am a member of the WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod), the most conservative of the 3 largest Lutheran bodies in the United States.

I have undergraduate and post-graduate training in Latin, German, Greek, and Hebrew, and so I am interested in those languages, as well as Old and New Testament exegetical study in the original languages.

I am also interested in the Protestant Reformation and history of the 16th and 17th centuries in Europe, and history in general.
