I am a student at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in the Social Work Department, currently 9 months from completing the Bachelor's Program. I am a "non-traditional" student, this is the beginning of a second career, after having worked in the IT field for 15 years after receiving an Associates in Electronics Engineering Technology from ITT of Aurora Co.. Particular areas of interest for me include substance abuse, veteran's issues (PTSD, etc.) and community organizing, areas that I have personal knowledge in as well as academic.
