I have just completed my fifth year as an elementary school teacher. I currently teach 5th grade in suburban Atlanta Georgia. I have previously taught 4th grade. Prior to teaching, I served a four year tour in the army.

I received my bachelor’s degree in history for the University of Nebraska. I earned a master’s degree in elementary education from Troy. Currently, I am working on a doctoral degree in leadership and learning with an emphasis in instructional technology from Kennesaw State.

In my free time, I enjoy tinkering with the newest, latest gadgets. I am also an avid tennis player and enjoy the occasional nap.
