I am a graduate student and adjunct instructor of Continental French Philosophy in the Department of Philosophy of Villanova University in Pennsylvania, United States. My philosophical interests include Latin American Philosophy and Literature, Ancient Philosophy, Medieval Philosophy, Early Modern Philosophy, History of Philosophy, Classical Literature, World Literature, Ancient to Modern Lyric Poetry, Aesthetics, Art History, Technology, Theology, Art, and metaphysics, not in that order. I was born in Havana, Cuba and raised in the United States. I am currently working on two papers intended for publication, one on Plato’s view of the Beautiful in the Phaedrus and another paper on Hegel’s treatment, in the Phenomenology of Spirit, of Sophocles’ Antigone.

I am studio-trained in painting. I am a published poet and continue write poetry when I can as well as help and workshop with other poets. I also on occasion show my work in local art exhibitions.
