I am a final year student at The University of Edinburgh. In my three years of university study, i have studied a wide range of subjects within the biological sciences. From my experiences i have most enjoyed learning about and researching the subject of the human body and its regulation and control of bodily systems. I have decided therefore, to chose in my fourth year, to study in Medical Biology. In particular, research into the control and regulation of body weight, through appetite and the reasons for obesity. This includes a wide range of factors such as genetics, hormonal control and other factors such as circadian rhythms.
