I'm an electron microscopy student working in both biological and materials, light and electron microscopy. I've had the standard two years of introductory math (calculus, linear algebra, and ordinary differential equations), a year of inorganic chemistry, 5 quarters of physics, including introductory quantum physics, and introductory engineering courses in materials science, nondestructive testing, and radiation safety. I've had courses in light microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and scanning electron microscopy. I'm interested in writing good articles on microscopes and microscopy.
