The first part of my tertiary education was at the University of Cape Town , where I received a Bsc degree with majors in Botany, Zoology and Archaeology. My passion and primary interest are the San / Bushmen people and the various aspects of their culture including archaeology, rock art, traditional healing and mythology. Over the years I have worked with different bushmen communities both in South Africa and Botswana and have got to know these people on a more personal, spiritual level. I am also a specialist tour guide, specialising in bushmen culture and rock art. I have worked both in the Cederberg and Drakensberg mountains with regards to tourism as well as searching for and documenting unrecorded rock art. I have also volunteered on numerous palaeontological & archaeological excavations with the National Museum , Bloemfontein .
I have broad interests including shamanism, teaching, geology, philately, anthropology, speleology, human evolution, survival techniques, alternative fuel sources and medicinal & edible plants. I especially have a keen interest in the emergence of modern man from archaic Homo.
