It doesn't matter if you accept both nominations. If you are elected to both Councils, you get to choose which seat you want. As we are using simple plurality voting, the next person down would get the other seat - your choice wouldn't affect this. If the Councils merge, if you are elected to both of the old Councils and if you are the only Management Council candidate, it would probably be better to take that seat - if you take the EC one, you would block someone else from the Council and leave the MC one empty.
