Born in Lisbon, Portugal, January 1948. Degree in History, Faculty of Arts, University of Lisbon, July 1972. Living in Porto since January 1975. PhD in Archaeology, Faculty of Arts, University of Porto, October 1982. Full Professor (of Archaeology) since May 1990, Faculty of Arts, University of Porto General editor of Journal of Iberian Archaeology Poet, archaeologist, author of essays C. 300 titles published, mainly papers and articles. Some 30 books.
