I graduated from Bath University, as a mature Psychology student, in 1999. I am studying part-time to gain skills in counselling and in delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). My perspective is humanistic, being influenced by Carl Rogers’ writing on therapy and education, my preferred cognitive developmental model is derived from the ideas of Jerome Bruner, and my belief system is inspired by the Enlightenment ideas of Descartes and others.
