I am a second year graduate student at the UC Davis Department of Physics. I graduated from UC Davis as an undergrad with a BS in Physics and minor in Mathematics. My current area of interest is Information Theory (essentially, pattern recognition). Starting as an undergrad, and continuing through the first year of graduate school, I worked at Crocker Nuclear Lab in Davis as a undergraduate/graduate student researcher for four years. I have written a couple papers with Crocker Nuclear Lab's Air Quality Group (in the field of Atmospheric Sciences). I have also spent two years as an editor for a Southeast Asian arts & culture magazine, but my expertise is almost entirely scientific. I have a fairly strong understanding of the so-called "hard sciences" and mathematics.
