I would like to add some information pertinent to the position that is not readily evident in the resume. I am an A+ and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certified, Dell Certified System Expert (DCSE), IBM Certified Business Provider, and studying for CCNA certification. I have been a computer technician for over 8 years through my work history and have a comprehensive working and troubleshooting knowledge of DOS, Windows, Citrix Metaframe products, SMS, UNIX, MSI, Installshield, and WinInstall. Additionally, I have a proficient working knowledge of all versions of Microsoft Office (XP/2003), and extensive printer experience, i.e., laser, inkjet, specialty (label, bar code) and networked printer environments/applications.

In my last position I was working as a temporary consultant for Computer Science Corporation at the Electric Boat Company shipyard in Groton, CT. I performed a variety of IT administrative and technical work related to the coordination, control, configuration and maintenance of desktop computers and peripherals within the Electric Boat Company organization to insure tractability and integration with new IT strategy. As an experienced computer technician I routinely troubleshoot and repair client hardware and software problems and concerns associated with desktop equipment, hardware break\fix and software integration and development.

I am a good team player and, as a former supervisor in several disciplines, I can appreciate the importance of emergent situations and priorities that are embedded in the IT environment.
